The law firm "Archs-Torrella Advocats, S.L.P" began its operations in the office belonging to the lawyer, Mr Isidro Archs Riqué (1910-1991), who founded it in 1947 after having served for several years in the Chancellery of the Spanish Embassy in Bern (Switzerland).
In 1964, the lawyer Mr Francisco Torrella Curto joined the law firm and from 1969, the original name was changed to "Archs-Torrella" as a result of the partnership between the two lawyers.
In the past, the firm has had strong links with Switzerland because of the position of the aforementioned lawyers as personal lawyers for the General Consulate of Switzerland in Barcelona due to their expertise in Swiss law, which also accounts for their many Swiss clients, both residents, and non-residents in Spain.
In 1994 and 1996 respectively, the lawyers Fátima and Francesc Torrella Cabello joined the law firm. They gave it an informal atmosphere that stands out for its direct, personalized service. |
